The Harm and Evidence Research Collaborative (HERC) is an organisation of researchers from The Open University with interests in criminology, forensic psychology and the history of crime and policing. Our research is typified by an interdisciplinary approach that combines perspectives from critical criminology, social policy, history, psychology, sociology and health and social care.   1. Tried to participate in your visual perception trial here – https://openss.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_eJPRx5KgXzXODCB – but got nothing downloaded at all. (Foolishly) clicked the ‘Next’ button which started the survey and now can’t get back to the video. Clicking the link again just takes me to the start of the survey. Is there any way I can get back to starting afresh. (I did wait 5 minutes before clicking ‘Next’ but nothing downloaded – honest!)

    • Sorry about that Brian – I’m afraid there is not a solution. I’ve checked and the experiment had to set up that way to stop people going back and looking at the video again multiple times. I am very sorry it did not work for you. Hopefully we’ll have similar experiments available in future.

  2. I couldnt load the video on “Visual perception experiment”. It appears the image of the video, but the “start video” button doesnt turn available 😦 How can i participate on this?
